Sharing multiple assets

There are multiple ways of sharing more than one asset at the same time. Before you can share an asset, first ensure that you have navigated to Place.

Method one (best practice)

1. Locate the assets that you would like to share and mark them all by checking the checkbox in the upper right corner of the asset in the overview page
2. As soon as you have checked the assets, the share button right underneath the filters will become available
3. Click on the button for sharing to share the assets

Method two

1. Locate the assets that you would like to share and mark them all by checking the checkbox in the upper right corner of the asset in the overview page
2. In the right-hand sidebar, click on the sharing button that is located underneath the name of the assets to share all of the assets

Method three

1. Locate the assets that you would like to share and mark them all by checking the checkbox in the upper right corner of the asset in the overview page
2. In the right-hand sidebar, click on the edit button and a new window will open for editing all the assets
3. Inside the new window, click on the share button and you should be able to click on share from here to share the assets

Sharing through collections

Sharing assets by using collections allows you to pre-define a selection of assets and put them into a group. From here, you can share the group of assets and have access to other features as well. We will explore how to share using collections below, but we recommend you check out the step-by-step guides to learn how to properly do this.

Share collection internally

In order to share internally, click on the three dots (options) above the collection and select share internal. This will generate a sharing link to the collection that you can send to another user. In terms of why it is called an ‘internal sharing’ is because this link will require login to the system.

Share collection externally

When selecting to share externally you can either send an e-mail directly from the system, or you can grab a sharing link for pasting online, in personal e-mail or other service.

Sharing a single asset

1. Locate the asset that you would like to share and hover over it with your cursor
2. When you hover over the asset two clickable buttons will appear, one for download and one for sharing
3. Click on the button for sharing to share the asset

Method two

1. Locate the asset that you would like to share and click on it
2. In the right-hand sidebar, click on the sharing button that is located underneath the name of the asset to share the asset

Method three

1. Locate the asset that you would like to share and click on it
2. In the right-hand sidebar, click on the edit button and a new window will open for the specific asset
3. Inside the new window, click on the share button and you should be able to click on share from here to share the asset
